(2 - 2 at full time; lost 6 - 7 on penalties)
Report
Once again the Colts went out a cup on penalty kicks, but the performance in the 90 minutes was far from good enough.
The Colts kicked off against a strong wind and the home side took full advantage when what can only be described as a hopeful shot from distance bounced over the head of Wullie into the net. The Colts fought back and equalised through Kyle Fox when a cross into the box found him unmarked to head home.
The Colts should have added and created several good chances with Damian causing the home side trouble on the right hand side.
It was however very disjointed, and the Colts never passed the ball on the heavy pitch, and to be honest it wasn't a good game to be standing at the side watching.
At half time the wind as usual stopped, and the Colts went ahead when a nicely weighted ball into the box by Eddie found Kyle Brown unmarked to finish.
The home side then showed a great deal of determination to get back into the game, something the Colts were missing, and it was no surprise after several scares when they equalised.
The Colts then saw the home side awarded a penalty when Wullie brought down the striker, however saved the resultant Penalty.
The Colts then lost out in the shootout 7v6, and yet another exit from a cup.
Overall the performance was poor from the Colts, and the standard must improve quickly as todays efforts were to say the least unacceptable.
